People today somewhat channel discrimination towards Christian fiction books. Most of them think that since it is labeled as Christian, it will just be about blatant displays of Christian values and faith, hence, they would rather not bother even opening the first page.

There is no denying that you can find plenty of people who are interested in fiction books, but most of them think twice before picking out a book with a Christian theme, especially if they are not Christians themselves.
What most of them don't know is that they are missing out on plenty of great Christian fiction book reads by overlooking these themes.
It doesn't necessarily mean that because a book is labeled as Christian, it will be talk about religion in all of its pages.
In fact, most Christian fiction authors only subtly incorporate religious teachings in their story, unless it was pertinent to the plot.
Take for instance, C.S. Lewis. As a Christian author, Lewis, wrote some of the most entertaining and loved books and at the same time, he only minimally incorporated his Christian faith in it.
If you read Chronicles of Narnia, you will notice how Lewis creatively incorporated his faith in the characters and plot; making it difficult to interpret unless you are a scholar.
You see, there is hardly any reason why you should refrain from reading fiction books made by Christian writers.
They might incorporate their faith in it, but it doesn't mean that they will smother you with it. It won't work that way.
Thus, there is no reason for you to not get into the habit of reading Christian fiction books.
